2014 Expansión Award in Innovation + Sustainability + Network

Yesterday, November 27th 2014, the eDuo Project “Young Professionals” of Fundación Exit in collaboration with Fundación Mutua Madrileña and Talleres Asetra, received the 2014 Expansión Awards in Innovation + Sustainability + Network.

The ceremony was chaired by José Manuel Soria, Minister of Industry, these awards are intended to recognize innovation in the design of products and services in organizations within the process of integration in a society.

The collaboration among Fundación Mutua Madrileña, Talleres Asetra and Fundación Exit began in the 2011-2012 academic year, reinforcing in 2013. Throughout these years, more than 39 workshops and 54 young people have participated.

The eDuo Project “Young Professionals”, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Employment of the Community of Madrid, coordinates trainings in the company with workers as trainers for the technical part. Furthermore, this training is certified in the specialty of Bodywork.

The Fundación Exit is responsible for the selection of young, coordination with

participating institutions and monitoring the course from a pedagogical and social point of view. Moreover, the Fundación Exit provides specialized training pills, which take advantage of the knowledge of the business.

The project, inspired by the German dual model advocates a theory/practice training, promotes the interest of young people in further education and improves their employability. Furthermore, the young people improve the teamwork, sharing knowledge and resources, to professionalize the training obtaining competent workers, increasing the quality of service, increasing performance of internal training plans and contributing to the RSC.

This award is for us a great recognition that motivates us to continue working against the school dropout and youth unemployment.
