Fundación Exit’s 2022-2025 Strategic Plan
Innovation in career guidance
The new strategic plan of Fundación Exit has been defined based on the current context, in which various issues and circumstances arise that both our youth and society in general must face.
Our society and our future are lost if the youth is lost
Manifesto
We believe in the present.
We believe that the past is history.
The future is what we make of today.
And today is a gift.
That’s why we call it the present.

We believe that every young person is also
the person they can become.
That every young person has the right
to discover and achieve
everything they can experience and become.
And that no one has the right
to take that life away from any young person.
We believe that young people who are
disoriented, vulnerable, or facing adversities
also have potential and talent.
We commit to helping them see themselves from a different perspective.
To discover the strength within themselves,
the life they are currently unaware they can have.
And to create a network of trust,
guidance, and personalized education for them.
So that they can become who they aspire to be.
We believe that being young is not about complaining about injustice,
but about doing something to change it.
And that the smallest thing we do today with each young person
will be a success for their future. Our future.
FUNDACIÓN EXIT
Future, Now
The best time to face our future is now.
To support young people on this journey, it is crucial to push for a digital transformation of our organization, a process for which we have the financial support from the European Union-Next Generation EU. This will enable us to enhance interaction with young beneficiaries and incorporate new digital tools and technological functionalities, among other improvements.
Current Scenario
HIGH EARLY SCHOOL LEAVING RATE
The Early School Leaving Rate (ESL) in Spain is 13.9%, the second highest in the entire EU. This means that 1 out of every 7 young people leaves education prematurely*.
The ESL rate is twice as high among young people from low-income families and immigrant families. (*Source: EPA 2022)
DEMAND FOR INTERMEDIATE PROFILES
By 2025, we will need 50% of the active population to have intermediate-level education*.
Currently, only 23% of the population falls within this education category, while 30% have primary or secondary education (ESO). (*Source: Government of Spain)
LATE INCORPORATIONS
The hiring of individuals with basic education has decreased, while the demand is increasing in strategic sectors such as IT, industrial, energy, and healthcare, which require profiles with higher specialization (vocational training of medium or higher degree).
CHANGING LABOR MARKET
More than half of Spanish boys and girls aspire to pursue a limited list of professions*.
Simultaneously, it is estimated that 65% of the jobs they will occupy have not yet been ‘invented’. (*Source: OECD)

New reality, new positioning
At Fundación Exit, we firmly believe that every young person has potential and should have equal opportunities to develop it. Therefore, we consider it unjust that factors such as their postal code or the household they are born into should limit their future.
Mission
To reduce early school leaving rates among socially vulnerable youth through an innovative guidance model, where the involvement of companies maximizes the possibility of their subsequent employment integration.
Vision
To be a key player in achieving the European objective of reducing early school leaving rates in Spain to 10% by 2025.
Values
- Equal opportunities
- Innovation
- Bridging the social and business worlds.
As part of this strategic plan, we focus on providing comprehensive guidance to young people, offering them tools, knowledge, and experiences that can be crucial for their future, starting from today.
In this holistic guidance process, we focus on four areas:
Self-awareness
Labor market
exploration
Profession
experimentation
Decision-making
Projects
At Fundación Exit, we work to activate the hidden potential within every young person, empowering them to build their own future starting from today.
We offer experiential modules that allow each student to create their personalized itinerary within two categories:
Guidance and motivation
With a focus on self-awareness and coaching, are the strategic core of the foundation.
The school-to-work training
Aligned with market needs is key to facilitating quality and stable job placements.
A model focused on connecting the individual abilities of each young person with the specific needs of the environment and the job market to optimize their performance, enhance their capabilities, and generate new opportunities.
Throughout the three academic years, the activities of Fundación Exit are expected to be…

AXES 2022-2025
Comprehensive Guidance
Comprised of experiential modules through which each young person can enhance their self-awareness and discover their talents and motivations.
Digital Transformation
By creating a platform where young people can self-manage their participation in the modules and promote interaction to foster a sense of community.
Impact measurement
A counterfactual impact evaluation that allows us to measure the net effect of the Coach project, which is the most consolidated initiative
in Fundación Exit.
Replication model
That allows us to expand the reach and impact of the Coach project, through which we cater to over 700 young people each academic year.
