Which young people do our programs target?
At Fundación Exit, our programs are aimed at socially vulnerable young people who need support to continue their training or access employment.
We work with them in three main areas:
- Orientation: with students in Basic Vocational Training and PFI (Training and Insertion Programs), who are usually between 16 and 21 years old and are at risk of dropping out of school early.
- Specialization: with young people in vocational training, to help them improve their skills and employability.
- Insertion: through the Incorpora Program of the “la Caixa” Foundation, which facilitates access to the labor market and accompaniment in the search for employment.which facilitates access to the labor market and accompaniment in the search for employment.
Our objective is to accompany each young person according to his or her educational stage, so that he or she can continue his or her education or improve his or her chances of finding a job.
What does it mean that you are a foundation?
Being a foundation means putting all our resources, knowledge and mobilization capacity at the service of a social cause. We do not work to generate economic profit, but to generate opportunities and a positive impact on people’s lives.
We are governed by a board of trustees, which oversees the fulfillment of our mission. We act with transparency and accountability to society and the public administration.
What is Speed Dating Reverse and what does it consist of?
In our job orientation program we develop the Speed Dating Reverse, an activity in which we invert the usual format of quick interviews.
Instead of the young people being interviewed, it is company professionals who introduce themselves and explain their work history in short, one-on-one meetings. The young people rotate through different tables and have the opportunity to listen, ask questions and learn about different professions and real experiences in the world of work.
With this activity we seek to help them explore the labor market, discover vocations and reflect on their professional future through direct contact with people from the business environment.
What is Fundación Exit?
Fundación Exit a non-profit organization that works to reduce early school leaving among young people in situations of social vulnerability.
Our objective is to help them enter the labor market, connecting the educational and business worlds through orientation and dual training programs.
We offer innovative training experiences and support so that young people can develop their potential and improve their future opportunities. In addition, we promote equal opportunities and collaboration between companies and educational centers.
