How does it work and on what evidence is the effectiveness of Fundación Exit’s Comprehensive Job Orientation Program based?
Fundación Exit’s comprehensive orientation model is based on the OECD report “How youth explore, experience and think about their future“. After following the evolution of 67,000 young people for 10-15 years, the study showed that those who had performed certain key activities in adolescence achieved better employment rates, higher salaries and more life satisfaction. Based on these key activities, Fundación Exit has created a program consisting of four experiential modules.
- EXcanéate: Self-knowledge and identification of interests and competencies.
- EXplora: Exploration of the labor market by professionals from the business world.
- EXperimenta: Accompaniment in the experimentation of professions through internships in the company.
- EXcoge: Decision-making to start building the future from today.
Because one opportunity can change everything.

Why was the Foundation created?
We created Fundación Exit in the year 2000 as an independent, non-profit initiative, with the aim of fighting against the early school dropout rate of socially vulnerable young people.
It arises as a response to the inequalities of opportunities that affect many young people, with the objective of improving their future possibilities.
Our approach is based on connecting the educational world with the business world to offer guidance, training and real work experiences.
In this way, we seek to facilitate labor insertion and help each young person to develop his or her potential.
What does it mean that you are a foundation?
Being a foundation means putting all our resources, knowledge and mobilization capacity at the service of a social cause. We do not work to generate economic profit, but to generate opportunities and a positive impact on people’s lives.
We are governed by a board of trustees, which oversees the fulfillment of our mission. We act with transparency and accountability to society and the public administration.
