Helping young people develop their vocation

The Exit Foundation promotes and support Vocational Training as a lever for change to reverse the situation of early school dropout and youth unemployment in Spain. Due to its practical nature and high insertion rate, the Exit Foundation adds the development of skills and support throughout the entire experience to the process

We work every day to activate the hidden potential of each young person so that they can build their own future today with the training that best suits their needs and context.

What does the Integral Job Orientation program consist of?

In the program of Comprehensive Job Orientation Fundación Exit helps young people in situations of social vulnerability to discover their potential and build their academic and professional future.

We base it on a process divided into four dimensions: self-knowledge, labor market exploration, career experimentation and decision making. Through practical activities, the accompaniment of professionals and contact with companies, the young people identify their interests, learn about different job opportunities and live real experiences in the world of work.

Our goal is to enable them to make informed decisions and increase their educational and employment opportunities.

What is Project Coach?

The Project Coach is our oldest (2008) and best known program. It consists of six sessions with volunteers from collaborating companies focused on coaching: self-knowledge, orientation, preparation for interviews and first contact with companies.

Do you work only in Spain?

Yes, throughout Spain, with direct presence in ten cities and main focus in Barcelona, Madrid and Seville.

Can any young person participate?

The programs are developed in educational centers with which we have collaboration agreements. It is the school that decides to participate, and the program is aimed at groups of students within its educational structure. A young person or a family cannot enroll directly.

If you are a teacher or head of a center interested, contact us here.

Which young people do our programs target?

At Fundación Exit, our programs are aimed at socially vulnerable young people who need support to continue their training or access employment.

We work with them in three main areas:

  • Orientation: with students in Basic Vocational Training and PFI (Training and Insertion Programs), who are usually between 16 and 21 years old and are at risk of dropping out of school early.
  • Specialization: with young people in vocational training, to help them improve their skills and employability.
  • Insertion: through the Incorpora Program of the “la Caixa” Foundation, which facilitates access to the labor market and accompaniment in the search for employment.which facilitates access to the labor market and accompaniment in the search for employment.

Our objective is to accompany each young person according to his or her educational stage, so that he or she can continue his or her education or improve his or her chances of finding a job.
