Fundación Exit aims to serve as a bridge between the educational and social sectors and the business world. Through various projects, we focus on three key areas:
- – Guidance and motivation for young people
- – School-to-work training
- – Job placement
These initiatives create a positive impact on young people by enhancing their education and employability; on companies by improving their ESG and People policies; and on social and educational organizations by enriching their training offerings and aligning them with the realities of the labor market and employment.
These projects generate a positive impact on students, impacting their training and employability; on companies, improving their CSR and HR policies; and on social and educational organizations, positively impacting their training offerings by connecting them to the reality of the world of work and employment.
After the pilot carried out during the previous academic year, in 2023-24 we have continued to methodically design the guidance program, while also expanding its implementation to reach 209 young people across three regions: Madrid, Barcelona and Seville.
This program, aimed at students enrolled in Basic Vocational Training or Initial Professional Qualification (PFI), has been developed with three key perspectives in mind: who the young people are – their aptitudes, skills, and competencies; what they are passionate about – their interests and vocation; and what the world needs from them – connecting them with the labor market and the professions of the future.
The Guidance Program is structured into 4 modules:
- – EXamine, focused on self-awareness and identifying skills and interests
- – EXplore, centered on exploring the labor market
- – EXperience, based on hands-on experimentation with professions
- – EXecute, focused on decision-making
Each of these modules includes various activities and experiences carried out throughout the academic year, providing support over the course of 1 or 2 years (depending on whether students are enrolled in Basic Vocational Training or Initial Professional Qualification).
The Coach Project is a corporate volunteering initiative aimed at motivating young people in vulnerable social situations, who have experienced school dropout, to continue their education.
Through this project, we connect participating youth with corporate volunteers from socially responsible companies who, through social coaching, engage their professional teams in a solidarity-based effort.
During the 2023-24 academic year, we carried out 17 editions of the Coach Project, involving 560 young people and 577 corporate volunteers.

SPECIALIZATION
The School-to-Work Program stems from the importance of ensuring that young people obtain at least a Mid-Level Vocational Training (VT) qualification to guarantee quality job placement. Thus, we focus on bringing students and educational institutions closer to the reality of professions and sectors, working hand-in-hand with companies. Additionally, we provide individualized support and focus on identifying and developing competencies.
This academic year, 12 editions have taken place across 6 cities, with the participation of:
- – 207 young people
- – 8 educational institutions
CERTIFICATION AND JOB PLACEMENT
Through this project, young people complete their training within companies, developing both their technical and soft skills with the goal of obtaining their Mid-Level Vocational Training certificate. This certification prepares them to enter the labor market and/or motivates and encourages them to continue their education.
During the 2023-24 academic year, 11 editions were held across 6 cities, with the participation of:
- 118 young people
- 78 companies
- 8 educational institutions
10 Years Hand in Hand with Fundación Mahou San Miguel
During the 2023-24 academic year, the ‘Creamos Oportunidades en Hostelería’ Program by Fundación Mahou San Miguel celebrated its tenth anniversary with a graduation ceremony in Madrid. The event brought together graduates, educators, and industry professionals. Virginia Luca de Tena, director of Fundación Mahou San Miguel, highlighted the value of the training received, emphasizing that many of these young people now have access to new job opportunities. Alfredo Mahou, president of the foundation, also underscored the graduates’ commitment to their learning and professional development.
