Exit Convention: Connecting to Transform
Coinciding with the start of a new year, on January 12 we held the Exit Convention 2025–2026, which took place at the Rosa Chacel Institute in Madrid—an educational space full of life, where young people build their present and project their future. A particularly meaningful setting that allowed us to place the focus on what truly matters: the young people supported by Fundación Exit and the very purpose of our daily work.
In this close and authentic environment, the team shared a day designed to pause, reflect, and reconnect. A space to reinforce the mission and values that unite us, strengthen bonds, and renew our collective energy.
The gathering brought together professionals from Barcelona, Madrid, and Seville and combined participatory dynamics, moments of strategic reflection, and first-hand testimonies that put a human face on the real impact of Fundación Exit’s programs, reminding us why and for whom we work.
A beginning to connect: team building and team cohesion
The day began with a team-building activity led by “Fútbol Más”, which, through sport, promoted cohesion, participation, and teamwork. This initial activity helped create an atmosphere of trust and collaboration among team members, strengthening bonds and the sense of belonging.

Theory of Change: impact in the voices of young people
One of the most inspiring moments of the Convention was the workshop focused on the Theory of Change, led by Nacho Sequeira, Executive Director of the Foundation. The session invited the team to reflect on the purpose and vision of the organization’s work and the impact it has on the lives of young people.
The space included the participation of Clara, Kassandra, and Eimy—three young women who shared their experiences in Fundación Exit’s programs. Through their testimonies, they highlighted the support they received and the learning they gained throughout their personal and professional journeys.
Eimy and Clara pointed out that Fundación Exit’s programs helped them get to know themselves better, identify their skills, discover what motivates them, and establish clear routines and goals. Kassandra, for her part, shared that she would tell 18-year-olds “to allow themselves to be helped and to avoid believing that they know everything or that the world is against them.”
Regarding their connection with the world of work, all three agreed that the experiences alongside corporate professionals were very positive, both for the learning acquired and for the opportunity to confirm—or rethink—their educational and professional paths.
All of them highlighted the Coach project as one of the most highly valued initiatives, emphasizing the impact of the mentoring process. Thanks to the guidance of professionals from the labor market, they noted that they were able to set priorities, gain confidence, and feel valued, respected, and heard.

The strategic perspective of the Board of Trustees
The Convention also featured the presence of members of Fundación Exit’s Board of Trustees. In this context, Hilario Albarracín, President of the Foundation, emphasized the importance of continuing to respond to the new needs of young people, educators, and companies in a constantly changing social and labor context.
He also underlined Fundación Exit’s commitment to continuing to promote corporate volunteering projects with large companies and to progressively involve SMEs from strategic sectors that are willing to host young people in internships, helping to reduce the existing gap between labor market supply and demand.

A closing to move forward together
The Convention concluded with a final activity called “Piece by Piece”, designed to strengthen team bonds and highlight the individual contribution of each person within Fundación Exit’s collective project. The activity was based on the idea that each member is a unique piece of a puzzle: some with defined edges, others with varied colors or irregular shapes, but all essential to building a shared vision.
The Exit Convention 2025–2026 was an opportunity to pause, reflect, and move forward together, reminding us that teamwork is key to continuing to generate social impact and to remaining that bridge that connects young talent with the world of work.
From Fundación Exit, we would like to thank the entire team, whose commitment and energy continue to demonstrate that together we carry out work that transforms lives.
