About the programme

The Exit Foundation’s comprehensive employment advice model is based on the OECD report, ‘How youth explore, experience and think about their future’. After following the progress of 67,000 young people over 10-15 years, the study showed that those who had carried out certain key activities in adolescence achieved better employment rates, higher salaries and greater life satisfaction. Building on these key activities, the Exit Foundation has created a programme consisting of four experiential modules.

▪️ EXamine: Self-knowledge and identification of interests and skills

▪️ EXplore: Exploration of the job market with the help of professionals from the business world.

▪️ EXperience: Support in experiencing professions through internships in the company.

▪️ EXecute: Take decisions to begin to build your future today.

What does the School-Business program consist of?

In the Fundación Exit’s School-Enterprise Program we connect educational training with the world of work through dual training projects and practical training linked to companies. Our aim is that young people can learn by combining theory in the classroom with real experiences in professional environments, thus improving their employability and their preparation for future employment.

To this end, we collaborate with educational centers and companies to design training itineraries that include internships, the development of professional competencies and support throughout the process. In this way, students not only acquire technical knowledge, but also key skills such as responsibility, autonomy and teamwork.

Within the program we develop different projects adapted to different sectors and needs:

  • FP Dual Project: We promote a formal training that combines theoretical learning and internships in companies, allowing students to gain real experience while obtaining their degree. This model increases their chances of finding employment.
  • We create opportunities in the hospitality industry: We developed an official training program in the hospitality industry, tutored by Fundación Exit and financed by Fundación Mahou San Miguel, which facilitates the access of young people to this professional field.

Overall, we seek to reduce the gap between training and employment, facilitating a more realistic and efficient transition into the labor market.

What are our programs?

Fundación Exit’s programs are designed to reduce early school leaving and improve the employability of socially vulnerable young people.

  • Comprehensive career counseling: we accompany young people so that they can get to know themselves better, discover training and career options, and make decisions about their future.
  • School-Company: we combine training in the educational center with practical experiences in companies through Dual Vocational Training.
  • Employment: We facilitate contact with the labor market and support young people in their access to a job through the “la Caixa” Foundation’s Incorpora Program. Incorpora Program of the “la Caixa” Foundation.

Our goal is to build bridges between education and business to generate more opportunities.

What does the Integral Job Orientation program consist of?

In the program of Comprehensive Job Orientation Fundación Exit helps young people in situations of social vulnerability to discover their potential and build their academic and professional future.

We base it on a process divided into four dimensions: self-knowledge, labor market exploration, career experimentation and decision making. Through practical activities, the accompaniment of professionals and contact with companies, the young people identify their interests, learn about different job opportunities and live real experiences in the world of work.

Our goal is to enable them to make informed decisions and increase their educational and employment opportunities.

What is Project Coach?

The Project Coach is our oldest (2008) and best known program. It consists of six sessions with volunteers from collaborating companies focused on coaching: self-knowledge, orientation, preparation for interviews and first contact with companies.
