Letter from the Presidency

25 years on, we continue to reaffirm our commitment to creating real opportunities for the most vulnerable young people, connecting the educational, social, and business spheres to help shape their future. Today, more than ever, we believe that when talent finds opportunities, the impact is transformative, and only possible through collaboration.

Consuelo Castilla and Hilario Albarracín

Presidency of Fundación Exit

The 2024/25 academic year has been marked by a particularly significant milestone for Fundación Exit: the celebration of our 25th anniversary. A moment that invites us to look back with perspective on the path we have taken, to value what has been built collectively, and to renew our commitment to the challenges that drive us forward.

Over these 25 years, Fundación Exit has worked to bring the educational and social spheres closer to the business world, with a clear objective: to create real opportunities for the most vulnerable young people. Thanks to the commitment of companies, educational institutions, social organizations, volunteers, and our team, we have helped thousands of young people build their futures with greater confidence and stronger skills. This journey reaffirms a conviction that has always guided our work: when talent finds opportunities, the impact is transformative.

However, the challenges that gave rise to our mission remain fully relevant. Early school leaving and the difficulty many young people face in accessing the labor market continue to be major issues. In this context, it is more necessary than ever to strengthen the connection between education and business, and to move forward with shared solutions that effectively address these challenges.

Along this path, one of our key learnings has been that impact is only possible through collaboration. The growing involvement of the business sector, together with coordinated work with educational institutions and social organizations, has enabled us to consolidate a model of intervention that generates value for all stakeholders—above all, for young people.

Beyond this anniversary, the academic year has also included a transition in the Presidency of the Board of Trustees. After several years leading Fundación Exit, Consuelo Castilla concludes a stage marked by her commitment and contribution to the organization’s development. She is succeeded by Hilario Albarracín, who assumes the presidency with the aim of continuing the Foundation’s mission and driving its growth in this new phase.

We will continue working to expand the impact of our projects, strengthen partnerships, and further develop initiatives that connect young talent with the professional world. We aim to remain a meeting point for diverse stakeholders, capable of promoting innovative solutions and generating real opportunities for those who need them most.

None of this would be possible without the commitment of all the people and organizations that are part of Fundación Exit. To all of them, we extend our sincere thanks for making it possible, year after year, for more young people to step onto the field and demonstrate their full potential.

We continue moving forward, with the conviction that there is still much to be done and with the commitment to leave no young person on the sidelines.
