Introduction

The purpose of Fundación Exit is to act as a bridge between the educational and social spheres and the business sector, facilitating the connection between young talent and the world of work. Through its various projects, the Foundation structures its work around three key areas: guidance and motivation for young people, training linked to the school–business environment, and support for employment integration.

These initiatives generate a positive and cross-cutting impact. On the one hand, they contribute to the personal and professional development of young people, strengthening their education and employability. On the other hand, they support companies in strengthening their ESG and people management policies. Likewise, they add value to educational institutions by enriching their training offer and aligning it with the real needs and dynamics of the labor market.

Guidance and motivation
Guidance Program
Labour market exploration experiences

The 2024/25 academic year has been the first in which the Guidance Program has fully structured the set of activities and experiences in an integrated way, addressing the different dimensions of the guidance process: from self-awareness and labour market exploration to experiencing professions and decision-making.

Within this framework, the Coach Project has evolved from being an isolated activity to becoming a key component of the program, with the exception of some specific editions.

Throughout the academic year, a total of 705 young people from three territories—Madrid, Barcelona, and Seville—participated in the program.

This program, aimed at students enrolled in Basic Vocational Training (FP Básica) or Initial Vocational Training Programs (PFI), has been designed taking into account three key perspectives: what young people are—their aptitudes, skills, and competencies; what they are passionate about—their interests and vocation; and what the world needs from them—connecting them with the labour market and the professions of the future.

The Guidance Program is structured into four modules:

  • EXamine yourself, focused on self-awareness and the identification of competencies and interests
  • EXplore, focused on labour market exploration. This module includes the Coach Project
  • EXperience, in which we support students in preparing for their in-company training placement
  • EXecute choices, focused on decision-making

Each of these modules includes different activities and experiences that take place throughout the academic year, providing support over one or two years (depending on whether students are enrolled in FP Básica or PFI).

In parallel with the development of the Guidance Program, we have carried out specific experiences focused on students’ exploration of the labour market:

  • Coach Project: A corporate volunteering initiative in which each young person is paired with a company coach who accompanies and guides them in their process of exploring the labour market and motivates them to continue their studies.
  • Speed Dating Reverse: Through short, interactive interviews with professionals from the business world, young people reflect on their interests, explore real career paths, and develop key skills for building their life and career project.

During the 2024/25 academic year, independently from the Guidance Program, there were 2 editions of the Coach Project and 10 editions of Speed Dating Reverse.

School-Company Training
School-Company Training I
School-Company Training II

The School–Company Program arises from the importance of ensuring that young people achieve at least a Mid-Level Vocational Training (Intermediate VET) qualification in order to guarantee quality labour market insertion. In this way, we aim to bring students and educational institutions closer to the reality of professions and sectors, hand in hand with companies. Additionally, we work on individualized support and the identification and development of skills.

This year, 14 editions have taken place, involving:

  • 208 young people
  • 10 educational institutions

With this project, young people complete their training in the company, developing both technical and transversal skills with the aim of obtaining their Intermediate VET qualification, preparing them to enter the labour market and/or motivating and encouraging them to continue their education.

During the 2024/25 academic year, 11 editions were held in 6 cities, with the participation of:

  • 143 young people
  • 8 educational institutions

11th edition of the “Creamos Oportunidades en Hostelería y Turismo” programme

Throughout the 2024/25 academic year, the 11th edition of Creamos Oportunidades en Hostelería y Turismo took place, a programme through which, for more than a decade, we have been transforming vocations into real professional careers within the sector.

This initiative, promoted by Fundación Mahou San Miguel, held an emotional closing event in Madrid, attended by young participants from all over Spain.

Employment
Incorpora Program

Since its launch in 2006, we have participated every year in the employment intermediation programme Incorpora of Fundación “la Caixa” in Barcelona and Madrid. The activities of the Incorpora network cover the entire national territory, and its aim is to promote the integration of people who face difficulties accessing the labour market.

Throughout 2025*, Fundación Exit has supported 387 young people, managed 197 job offers, and facilitated 154 job placements for young people actively seeking employment.

*The Incorpora programme of Fundación “la Caixa” is evaluated by calendar year.
